Moonfish Jewelry uses 14k gold-filled and sterling silver for the metals.  Our beads and stones are precious and semi precious.

Gold filled is much more durable than gold plated because the gold content is significantly thicker. There is a layer of gold that is bonded with heat and pressure on the surface of jewelers brass.  

With proper care gold filled jewelry can last a lifetime.  

Clean with an untreated cloth or mild soapy water.

Sterling Silver is a perfect high quality metal.  It will last a lifetime as well but it will tarnish.  It is easy to clean.

Clean with silver cleaning cloths or a silver dip cleaner.
